Turbinia and Arthropleura

Some more mini-kits developed for the Common Room of the North. These sets are available to build during frequent LEGO workshops that they run, usually during school holidays. Check their website for details of upcoming events.
Turbinia was once the fastest steam turbine-powered ship in the world. Built in 1894 it now lives in the Discovery Museum in Newcastle. My LEGO version has 106 parts.
Arthropleura is an ancient, extinct giant millipede. My LEGO version has 171 parts
